30 Days of Gratitude Challenge (Day 11) Kindness and God Bless

So this is a day late. Yesterday night I had bad food poisoning and threw up everywhere, even at Mason Hall. The thing that made my heart melt was the infinite kindness and love that I have received from fellow students whom I don’t know. They helped to clean up the mess I made and even went to get me water. Wow, I feel loved. Another thing that was kind of a surprise to me is that I found the missing QTIP to my wireless headphones. I prayed about this and forgot, and God showed me that He heard my prayers. Wow! I feel blessed despite illness! ✝️

30 Days of Gratitude Challenge (Day 9) Wallenberg Lecture to End Gun Violence

Thank the Lord that I had the incredible privilege to attend the Wallenberg Speaker Lecture Waller. Both of the Wallenberg mentalists this year were survivors of mass shootings in 2018. They advocated for stricter gun control across the nation. They are only high schoolers. So young, yet so mature. The first mentalists were the BRAVE antigunvience.org founders and the second were the Marjorie Stoneman Douglass high school students. I cannot envision the amount of pain that they had to go through to be this inspiring but aspire to be as mature as these kids who are younger than me. The future of America is theirs, as that makes me extremely happy.
